On Friday 16 August 2024, Ambulance Relief’s 7th ambulance donation left Switzerland for Ukraine.
Driver and mechanic Borys and Oleksiy arrived in Switzerland around 0300, slept a short while and then we met to finalise paperwork. Thank you Tetiana and Taras from the Ukrainian Embassy for our remarkable collaboration. It is the honour of a lifetime to be able to deliver these ambulances into Ukraine – to support lives in urgent need and Ukraine’s healthcare system under attack.
Eternal thanks to wonderful, generous friends in the UK; the US and Switzerland. Within hours of sharing an appeal last month, we could do it!!!
