Ukraine’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Iryna Veneditova, presented this beautiful award to Helen Ramscar in recognition of Ambulance Relief’s life-saving support for Ukraine.
The Ambassador hosted a very special ceremony at Hohenstein Castle in Berne on 23rd June 2026, marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Constitution Day later that week. Awards were given to individuals and organisations that have demonstrated steadfast support for Ukraine. Helen Ramscar was honoured to be invited and to be among such esteemed guests. With deep gratitude, she accepted this award on behalf of all those who have supported Ambulance Relief’s efforts to buy and deliver 10 ambulances, numerous units of vital diagnostic and surgical equipment, and dozens of power supplies for Ukraine.
In her remarks, Ambassador Veneditova emphasized that Ukraine’s Constitution is not only its founding legal document but evidence of a centuries-old tradition of Ukrainian state-building – demonstrated beautifully at this event with uniquely Ukrainian tapestry, music and historical information on display.
